Galentine's Day Greeting Cards

Galentine's Day originated on the sitcom "Parks and Recreation" in an episode aired on February 11th, 2010, wherein the character of Leslie, played by actress Amy Poehler, throws her annual Galentine's Day party for all of her girlfriends. Much like the made-up Christmas alternative, Festivus (for the rest of us), which was hilariously celebrated on an episode of "Seinfeld," Galentine's Day took off from there. It's a celebration of female friendship taking place on February 13th, Valentine's Day Eve, and the festivities mainly consist of a long, loud and alcohol-laden brunch. It's all about ladies celebrating ladies, with copious amounts of breakfast foods like waffles getting consumed, maybe a party being thrown, and perhaps the exchange of gifts. Love and support feted upon your female friends, breakfast/lunch and gallons of red wine. What more could any woman want? Except a funny and fabulous greeting card to cap off the amazing occasion!
