Can't you picture this little old lady being all sorts of confused as she opens her email and reads that a rich Nigerian is giving her 4 million dollars? First of all, she's doing good at being able to log onto the computer and actually find her email, let alone remembering what her username and password is. But then, you do understand that she has no concept what junk email is, or spam, or phishing is. So she will literally open and read every message that comes to her. At least you can send someone a funny Birthday wish and they'll know that at least your 4 million wishes for a Happy Birthday is sincere.
